The Longpark Pottery was started by two Watcombe Pottery employees who had been laid-off in the 1880’s. Their original production was unglazed earthenware utilitarian wares; in the early 20th century, they began to make ‘Art Pottery’ along the same lines as Watcombe and nearby Allen Vale – but with several distinct designs of their own.
The company closed in 1957 after being taken over by Watcombe.
