Elegant George III mahogany secretaire bookcase with unusual simple arched pediment above astragal glazing in the ‘Gothic’ taste, the top drawer with applied ‘Maltese Cross’-form moulding folding down to reveal a satinwood pigeonhole desk interior, the four drawers to the base with original wooden knobs, the simple curved skirt beneath echoing the top pediment, with two shelves to the glazed top.
