Meissen figure of a gent, dressed in elaborate 18th century costume including a flowery waistcoat with gold ‘lace’ trim, pink striped pants & a turquoise coat, on. circular plinth base with Greek Key moulding.

Crossed swords mark in blue,  incised number,

Circa 1880

 

16cm high

 

Restored: both hands overpainted,  tip of cape restored, small loss to front of hairstyle paint, otherwise good condition
