Interesting Royal Commemorative cast solid bronze plaque, depicting Edward VIII as ‘HRH THE PRINCE OF WALES’, with integral stand.

Edward Albert Christian George Andrew Patrick David Windsor became King of England on 20th January, 1936; he is however most notable for the shocking, scandalous abdication at the end of the same year. This plaque must have been made before his Kingship was apparent, and he was just the ‘Prince of Wales’, so pre-1935.
