Rare intact Old Sheffield Plate ‘Argyle’, or gravy jug with internal hot-water compartment to keep the gravy warm, of elegant oval profile urn-shape ‘Adams’ style, simply decorated with a gadrooned edge and stunning ivory handle.

Condition: good, one area of wear to shoulder, sides & spout are good, know with wear. Ivory with superficial surface lines & very sound. Displays well.
