Rare Old Sheffield Plate coffee pot, the body a simple egg shape, with streamlined spout & acanthus leaf handle attachment, on spreading foot, the knop a ball, with elegant carved boxwood handle with scroll at top.
One side with an engraved crest, for the Grierson Clan of Scotland, time of Sir Robert Grierson of Lag
Unmarked, attributed to Roberts, Cadman & Co, Sheffield

Condition: some wear to silver with copper ‘blush’ showing through, the handle with old repair (sliced & brass plate inserted) with small repair to scroll at top.
