Pair of Japanese Imari vases,of octagonal double-gourd shape with elegant tall neck, moulded with chrysanthemum flowerheads, richly decorated in underglaze blue,iron red, green, and gold with plants reaching towards the rim, a golden band tying them together at the waist.
