Delightful pair of large Staffordshire spill vases, depicting ‘rural pursuits’, with a milkmaid and her bucket standing by her cow, a curved trunk at the back providing the vase opening, the matching group with a man doffing his tri corn hat, the saddled horse drinking from a fountain, the tree-trunk spill vases unusually modelled on an angle.
Circa 1860
each 20cm high, 18cm wide
Condition: some slight restorations inc. his foot, cow horn, some slight staining, displays well.
