Edward famously abdicated before his own coronation, in order to marry Wallis Simpson – hence memorabilia of this so-called event is somewhat of an anomaly. Paragon, amongst other manufacturers, had already registered and produced souvenirs (of considerable cost) when he announced his abdication, most of which were destroyed. This is a lucky survivor!
