Paris porcelain sucrier, of straight sided form, boldly painted with a large flower group on a gold ground, within elaborate gilt classical scrolls, ring handles to the sides and round knop to the lid. Marked ‘Manteau’ in gold script, for the studio Manteau ran at Rue Saint-Honoré, 1807-11.
