Rare Dutch Silver cruet stand of ‘Empire’ form, the main column of cannon barrel shape, the handle loop a  beautifully sculptured serpent, with two slightly later cut crystal bottles.

Hallmark –  Rampart lion for Dutch .934 graded silver, post-1814, also a smaller corresponding baton mark to the serpent’s head. 

Two makers-marks to the base: ‘S1’ and ‘B&Z’ with a six-sided star
