Rare early Victorian voting machine, with twin turned mahogany pillars, supporting a rotating octagonal drum for random selection ‘name in the hat’, nominations, veneered in rosewood and stain wood, the rectangular box base with twin lockable drawers, a brass bound slot allowing voting tokens to be inserted.
