Rare Ridgway green-body twin handled urn, decorated with black slip panels painted with white enamel figures,
one side depicting Ceres, the other Apollo,
a band of similar tone flowers below, the whole with gilt details and multiple gilt rings.

minor wear, rim chip restored, one handle re-stuck
ref. Godden ‘Ridgway Porcelains’ pl 117 for this pattern in the original pattern book – no. 134 (?) – although apparently on the more commonly seen bluish-mauve body.
