Sèvres cup & saucer with finely painted panels of cherubs & goat, 18th & 19th century
Sèvres cup & saucer, superbly painted with large panels of cherubs, the cup with three cherubs and a goat, the saucer with three and a sheep, within tooled gold borders on a mustard ground, the rim with a wide border of oak leaves and acorns in tooled gold.
Porcelain 18th century,Crossed ‘L’s’ mark,also ‘CC’ for 1780,however, sold as blanks, and decorated in the 19th century.
Saucer diameter: 14cm,
Cup from handle to rim: 9cm
Condition: small amounts of wear to the gilt outer rims.
