Chinese bowl,  the elegant form with small foot and wide rim, glazed with a celadon-type glaze, recovered from an unknown wreck in Indonesia, encrusted in marine growth.

Song Dynasty, 12th-14th century AD

 

Purchased Indonesia 1980’s & brought back to Australia.

Condition is fair, encrusted & water-worn; is stable.
