Rare Spode tureen, the rectangular form with concave moulded sides, richly decorated with wide borders of flowerhead and foliage in enamels and gold, the sides and lid with U- shaped handles terminating in leaves, all finally gilt.

condition: wear to gold, staining inside, lid with section restock and area of overpainting.
