Rare Staffordshire figure of a ‘Preacher’, identified as Dr Thomas Raffles, or perhaps John Fletcher, both independent evangelical men of note from the earlier 19th century, shown in cassock and gown with bible at one side resting on a tall green pedestal, on a low circular plinth.
