Superb quality Sterling Silver desk set, the rectangular base with gadrooned rim and winged lions-paw feet, the sides with pierced ‘strapwork’ in the 17th century manner, a pair of glass inkwells enclosed in a similar manner flanking an elegant taperstick with separate sconce, the stick lifting to reveal a cavity beneath.
