hallmarked for Chester, date letter worn but circa 1845,

also ‘PL’ for Patrick Leonard of Salford

Patrick Leonard registered c.1835, and was active until c. 1846. The date code has enough left to make out a curved left-side, with an internal barb; this could be C-1841, E-1843, or G-1845.
