This crest & the spoon date indicates the spoon would have been used by Sir Barnes Peacock (1810-1890). He was a solicitor & judge, spending his career in India where he was high in the Judicial system, serving as the first Chief Justice in Calcutta, and on his return to England in 1870, he joined the Privy Council.
