Interesting highly decorative Sterling Silver sugar castor, of Rococo fluted vase form with scrollwork rim, similar decoration to the spreading foot, the cover pierced with small central knob.
Maker’s mark ‘HW&Co’ for Henry Wilkinson & Co, Sheffield 1837

Condition: some worn holes to raised work, dents & signs of age, the interior with gilt remaining.
Note the head of William IV is still being used at the assay office.
