Sytch Pottery Ironstone double handled porter’s mug, printed in indigo & painted in enamels with a parrot on a branch before a waterway, one side incorporating scrolls inscribed ‘IMPERIAL PINT’, the interior with a cell & flowerhead border.
Black printed registration mark for 1869 & ‘Till & sons’

Thomas Till & Sons operated the Sytch Pottery, Stoke-on-Trent, from 1850 into the early 20th century. They produced ‘good middle-class earthenware’, according to Jewitt. In the 1881 census they reported employing 200 people.
