Extraordinary tinglaze lantern, the cylindrical body with three openings flanked by grooved for thin shades (horn or parchment) , the conical top pierced and mounded by three lizards, the summit a rosette, the base petal moulded, the whole painted in blue with elaborate scrollwork and detailing, the sides with three panels of figures in landscapes.

probably French, 19th century
in the Dutch 18th century style.
