The Dartmouth Pottery was established on the banks of the Dart, Devon, in 1948. They made a range of majolica-glaze wares as well as these hand painted slipware pieces; after the 1960’s, the hand painted designs were no longer produced. After many changes in ownership, the pottery is still going, functioning as a tourist attraction.
