Condition: signs of age, a part of backing edge wood restored.
This interesting item is a classic example of ‘Aussie Ingenuity’. When Sir Henry Parkes came to the limelight on the political stage, a quick flick of the paintbrush transformed dreary Dickens into something much more appropriate for a nation approaching Federation. The likeness to Sir Henry Parkes is remarkable!
