This historic Barrabool Sandstone building was originally built at Sutherlands Creek, moved stone by stone to Deakin University, Waurn Ponds Campus, in 1998.

The record on the Vic Heritage site declares “This church seems to have been moved…. (and) rebuilt at  Deakin University in 1998.”  Indeed, we can confirm it has moved!

Verna Kirk was an enthusiastic local artist who used her talent to record the historic buildings around the Geelong district, 1970’s-80’s.
