Very large Chinese lacquer floor vase, painted in gold with a continuous landscape, with three boys with butterflies in strings, pine trees, rocks, and distant mountains, beneath a band of bats & clouds beneath the flared lip.
Circa 1880

 

Condition: some wear, small losses, area of foot & lip restored with minor overpainting.
