Provenance: The Antique Porcelain Company, NY. Ref. Christies London Feb 25 2005 for a similar group with the same impressed ‘O’. There are interesting differences, namely a sheep at her feet and bows on man & lady, which are not found on our example, and do not appear to have ever been part of the production. The group are dressed in court costumes of the previous century. ref. Sturm-Bednarczyk & Sladek "Ceremonies Feasts Costumes: Viennese Porcelain Figures" p147 for the figure, discussed p150.
