Unusual early Vienna mug of barrel form, painted with a version of the Meissen ‘fels und vogel’ pattern in underglaze blue, with iron red and gold embellishments, an ornate handle attached to one side. Blue shield mark and ‘3’, also incised ‘3’, Circa 1755.
