Interesting Vienna style porcelain figure of a dwarf musician, depicted playing a violin as a double-bass, colourfully attired and on a circular green plinth base.

Despite having a hand-painted ‘beehive’ or Shield of Vienna mark, this piece is not an early Vienna item from the 18th century, but a late 19th century imitation, made to deceive: a musical fraud….. and yet, it’s still an interesting little figure!
