Usable Roman bronze fibula, of ‘Colchester’ type, the body with incised groove, the cross-pieces with double angled grooves.

Good lustre with signs of age, missing spring replaced with modern metal making it usable.
Provenance: purchased London 1990’s. Spring introduced to make it usable recently.
