Windsor & Newton’s Artist’s Set, the mahogany box with ebony beading to edge, opening to reveal fitted compartments containing supplies & porcelain pallets, with lift-out tray containing 7 porcelain paint vessels, some with contents, labelled to the tray; a left-out pen tray beneath with one ink pen & 2 metal ‘pencil’ lead holders, a 6-segment mixing pallet lifting to reveal black & white pastels, a milk glass mixing bowl, an original ivory brush rest, and front brush segment containing several original paper brushes, the front with a drawer released after internal pin is removed, with 2 round porcelain pallets.
