Interesting German Art-Nouveau pottery vase, by Huber Goethe, the globular form with short neck, painted in slip with large red, purple and blue flowerheads on spindly stems, the upper ground a deep blue.
Impressed mark ‘HUBER-ROETHE / VILLIGEN BAD’ ,
also painted marks ‘750/2’ , ‘M’ ‘W’.
Circa 1905
Condition: good, some small bruises to the lip only.
