Baroque Pewter oil vessel, modelled as a ewer, on spreading rounded foot and ribbed lower section, a c-scroll handle to one side and birds beak spout supported by a Bacchus head, the domed lid with central embossed flowerhead & pierced scrollwork thumbpiece.
Probably Continental,
earlier 18th century
Signs of age, good lustre.
The thumb piece appears to be a monogram: ‘SRV’ ?
This is a condiment vessel, for the table.
