Chamberlain’s Worcester porcelain coffee can, foliage pattern, c. 1805
Sold
Interesting English porcelain coffee can, with loop handle, painted in underglaze blue, enamels & gilt with a large palm tree against blue ground to either side, with gilt line rim.
Circa 1805
6.5cm
Good condition
Attribution based on a milk jug in ‘Cabinet of British Creamers’ attributed to Chamberlain, with the same pattern, described as having a ‘gray body’ – certainly the case with this piece.
