ref. Gompertz- Chinese Celedon Wares- p185 for some similar wares, recovered from a Yuan vessel wrecked off Korea. This bowl was purchased in Indonesia, where celedons were keenly sought after in the Yuan & Ming dynasties. There is still a trace of the red earth of Indonesia on the base.
