Chinese export tea bowl and saucer of elegant low form painted in famille rose colours with garden scene, including chrysanthemum and other flowers growing from gnarled branches, set in a green ground, the cup interior with a peach and leaves to base, within a gold line rim
Guangxu seal mark, 1875-1908
Provenance: from an interesting Dutch provenance, brought to Australia as an inheritance, with origins going back to the Dutch East Indies Company in the 18th century.
