Stunning quality Chinese porcelain bowl with concave sides & flared lip, painted with a continuous scene of figures in a landscape, featuring a small child being restrained from running by an attendant, his attention on two ‘immortals’ resting beneath a tree – Li Tieguai with his staff & gourd, and Cao Guojiu with his sceptre, the reverse with two red bats flying high, a gold line to rim.
Underglaze Qianlong mark,
