Rare moulded earthenware plate by J & R Clews, of Cobridge, Staffordshire , with crisply moulded wreath and c-scroll border, the centre carefully enamelled in thick blue with a peacock with white highlights, embellished with gold leaves and flowers, the outer edge of moulding gilt.
