Cloisonné wine pot, early Ming Dynasty, 15th-16th century

Very rare Chinese cloisonné wine pot, the brass body of globular form with massive spout and domed lid, a hinging double overhead handle also in brass, the pattern a series of scrolling flowering lotus plants on a white ground, within borders of daisy heads on a blue ground, on a short flaring foot, the interior with no enamel but finished in a brown lacquer. Early Ming Dyansty, 15th-16th century.
