Superb quality English cane, the shaft bound with cord and lacquered, the head with a South Staffordshire enamel collar with a countryside scene reserved on a blue diaper ground, enclosed with a lower silver band tooled with foliate designs and an upper silver gilt band with embossed & chiselled leaf designs, the top mounted with an oval Italian micro-mosaic. Circa 1780
