Handsome Dr Wall Worcester ‘Wet Blue’ ground teacup & saucer, well painted with panels of exotic birds within gilt scrollwork, the cup with a bug & leaf to the bottom.
Cup with fretted square mark,
Saucer with blue crescent mark
Circa 1770
Condition: Excellent
The cup has a different border pattern, but the same ground and the same bird; they are probably from two different tea services, made at the same time with slight variations.
