Fine quality French ‘Egyptian Revival’ clock, the drum-shape bronze body surmounted by a partial gilt bronze bust of Cleopatra by sculptor Eutrope Bouret, on angular sockle with incised profile Egyptian figure, the stand in typical Belle Epoque style with wide acanthus leaf moulding, twin loop handles & a grotesque mask to the front leg.

Sculpture signed on sockle; works marked on back.

Condition: metalwork in excellent condition, has been working but suggest a tune-up by a professional; pendulum marked ‘Made in England’ so not original. Sold as-is, works in good condition but not guaranteed.
