English delft plate, decorated in the Chinese style with a large central square tub of flowers, within a scallop & fret border, the rim with a scrolling pattern spaced by a V.
Unmarked, probably Liverpool or perhaps Irish,
Circa 1760

The pattern doesn’t appear in the main delft books, but the border and similar flowers can be found in Liverpool; there is also a strong resemblance to Dublin delft, particularly in the technique seen in the flowers.
