English porcelain potpourri basket, the concave sides painted with rose heads surrounded by gilt foliage on a seeded ground, the rim and pierced cover with small applied flowerheads all-over, stamens picked out in gold, with three small pink roseheads around a central flower knop, a twig handle above.

Quite good condition, minimal wear, faint 3cm hairline to lid.
ref. Godden ‘Chamberlain Worcester’ p217 for a similar smaller example. It has the same applied flat flowerheads, the same small pink rose heads to lid, and the handle configuration is the same, although on a different size. This pattern was popular in many factories at the time.
