English pottery jug, the foot with finely turned rings, the body & neck in a deep purple lustre, with white raised relief classical figures to either side, one with cherubs in a chariot drawn by a sheep, the other with cherubs & a censor, an elaborate urn shape beneath the spout.

The handle, base rings, and sprigs all lean towards a ‘Shorthouse’ attribution.
