Flamboyant Indian Brass urn with lid, the bell-shape body completely covered with finely incised animals & figures amongst scrolling foliage, a fish-scale pattern to the neck, on a short stem & spreading foot, the twin handles as large hooded coabra, the lid wit a double-faced, multi-armed ‘Devi’ goddess figure.

40cm high, 26cm wide
Good condition with minor signs of age, has been hand-made slightly asymmetric, displays well.
Provenance: from a local Geelong family, in their possession for several generations, ie. since new.
