Interesting ‘wirework gold brooch, made from one continuous bent gold wire, spelling out the name ‘Bessie’, with a pin to the back also made from the same piece of wire.

There is no sign on the wire of a ‘plating’ finish, and it is probably a lower grade gold alloy. Untested, but solid metal with no sign of tarnish.
