Caughley tankard of large size, printed in blue with a variation of Worcester’s ‘Pine Cone’ pattern, with slightly flared base.
Circa 1785
14cm high
Condition: ‘ran’ in the kiln firing one side, faults to base, crack to handle base.
Caughley and Worcester both made this pattern and printed it on mugs, however the Worcester mug lacks the thumb piece on the handle this one has.
