Very large Chinese porcelain bowl, painted to the inside base & walls with excellent famille verte style decoration of large koi goldfish amongst flowering lotus plants, the small flat rim with a lattice border reserved with flowerheads, the exterior richly painted with a continuous ‘above-water’ scene of ducks and pheasants amongst the same flowering lotus plants.
